How new eyecare lens innovations can transform your vision.

It's no secret that our eyesight deteriorates as we age. For many of us, this is a gradual process that happens so slowly that we don't even notice it. However, for some people, the deterioration in their eyesight can be much more rapid and severe, and it can have a significant impact on their quality of life.





There are a number of different conditions that can lead to poor vision, and each one can have different effects. Some common symptoms of poor vision include difficulty reading or seeing clearly, eye fatigue and headaches. In some cases, poor vision can also cause dizziness or nausea through migrain. In many cases, simple lifestyle changes or the use of new eyecare products can dramatically improve your quality of life.


For example, if you spend a lot of time looking at screens (computers, phones, tablets, etc.), you may be causing eye strain which can lead to the aforementioned symptoms. Something as simple as using a blue light filter on your devices can help reduce eye strain and improve your vision. There are also a number of eyecare products on the market that can help improve your vision and help you to be more productive.   • The AdLens Taskmaster: A really innovative minimum distortion varifocal lens exclusive to us on the Fylde Coast, Using a two lens system these lenses offer maximum vision at distance, in social circles and in the office too. We're really excited about these and think they will be a game changer especially for those that struggle with conventional varifocal/progressive lenses.


  • Bluetooth enabled glasses and sunglasses: Fully customisable to most prescriptions this amazing range of frames allow the wearer to listen to their favourite podcast or tunes whilst still interacting with the world around hem. They can even be connected to a computer to aid with remote meetings without the need for bulky earphones or bulky headsets.

  • Hoya MiYosmart and Bloom Lenses: These innovations are amonst the best of the past few years. The products actually slow down the progression of myopia (shortsightedness) by retarding eye growth. Thus ensuring the lowest prescription possible of the wearer.


  • React-to-light contact lenses: Yes just like the glasses these bad boys go darler in the sun... Great for holidays!

  • EDOF multifocal contact lenses: Just about the best multicocal contact lenses we have come across. These lenses allow the wearer good distance and near vision without the need for top-up glasses. Out of everything we have tried in the past these lenses are rally making a difference.
